Gravestones & DOB

The usually reliable ANC Explorer gives us photos of an in-ground gravestone for "Major Satterlee Clark Grad WP. 1807" from a "Plummer" search. But FindaGrave and ArlingtonCemeterydotnet have an above-ground monument inscribed "S.C. Plummer". This suggest that Satterlee Clark is a relative of the Plummers. Well, FindaGrave shows Satterlee Clark at ANC and has a photo of the same gravestone that ANC shows. Looks like FAG & ACdotNet have better info than ANC. Thus the deep mystery as to Plummer's YOB continues. For WP editors should keep track of what the ELs and ANC can dig up. – S. Rich (talk) 21:06, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
