The result of the move request was: Consensus to move José Ortíz (footballer) → José Ortíz (footballer, born 1998), no consensus regarding José Ortiz Bernal → José Ortiz (footballer, born 1977), the latter is without prejudice against speedy renomination. – No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for footballers named José Ortíz, so both should be disambiguated further. WP:COMMONNAME for both is just "José Ortíz". For first footballer 1, 2 - all refs on page.

Oppose 2nd. More than half of the sources on the Spanish footballer's article use the maternal surname. No evidence that the shorter form is the common name. DrKay (talk) 18:03, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
