We give general Spanish pronunciations, just as we do for English. Since the /s/ is predictable, we don't need to show it. We don't give the Argentine pronunciations for other consonants, so changing to /s/ is much more misleading than /θ/ -- it might lead people to think that's how his name is actually pronounced.
