Wrong image
editHi; There's been an issue with the image used on this page: apparently an editor has been repeatedly uploading an image of a former bodybuilder who also goes by the name Jon Lindsay (Image can be seen here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Jon_Lindsay.jpg). It doesn't have proper copyright clearance and it's of the wrong person, so I've taken it off this page. If this image gets put up again then I'll try and speak to a mod. Just a heads-up! Resume
editI added a "like resume" tag to the article and removed "Activist" category as non consequential. It was reverted by User:Emcochoclab with the summary "(Lindsay IS a highly verifiable activist - removing that was vandalism. He is also not just a "musician"; he initially gained prominence in his solo career specifically as a recording artist)". Emcochoclab appears to be a WP:SPA and Jon Lindsay (musician) appears to be entirely the work of User:Oneuppr up till 2011 when Emcochoclab started editing. I guess the musician probably is borderline notable, but as it stands its heavily puffed. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:33, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- User:Oneuppr also created Chocolate Lab Records, Jon Lindsay (musician)'s label so Emcochoclab may have a WP:COI issue. Anyway, the lead needs formatting per WP:MOSBIO. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:36, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Chocolate Lab Records doesn't release Lindsay's albums any more, so that information is out of date. And I'd say the use of the word "regressive" in the last paragraph of 'Music career' falls foul of WP:BIASED. Richard3120 (talk) 08:54, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --2601:900:4381:7530:A5AF:279F:6A48:F589 (talk) 20:09, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
This page is often updated by a few super fans. None of the recent edits were promotional or cars for deletion. Deleting this page for link updates would be ridiculous. The subject is notable and meets all other guidelines.

It is highly unreasonable that this page has been flagged simply because it presents a thorough summary of Jon Lindsay's artistic career. While it is detailed, the information is correctly cited and factually correct, as well as noteworthy to anyone interested in Lindsay.
