Why do people keep re-adding the interwiki to Japanese even though there is no Japanese article yet? —Keenan Pepper 22:57, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

User:DYLAN LENNON is a spammer also on ja.wikipedia. I guess that you should be banning him as soon as possible. Sorry for my poor english, thank you. --218.251.72.142 03:34, 30 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hey, it's better than my Japanese. =P —Keenan Pepper 04:36, 30 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is it not good to add the interwiki to Japanese if there isn't an Japanese article yet? I think it's still meaningful. DYLAN LENNON 05:41, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, it is not (good or meaningful). Please, do not add interwiki links to non-existent things. Awolf002 12:17, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nationality edit

What is his nationality; German or Swiss ? In the introductory paragraph he is Swiss and in the infobox (as well as the article lambert (unit) he is German. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 12:14, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

His was born in Milhüsa (Mulhouse). Milhüsa joined the Swiss confederacy in 1515, long before Lambert’s birth, and remained in the Swiss confederacy until 1798, after Lambert’s death. He lived and studied and worked in Chur, Switzerland, for many years, but worked in Berlin for the last 13 years of his life. It’s hard to say how he would have answered someone who asked about his nationality, but presumably “Swiss”. Strebe (talk) 01:35, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've just removed the nationality line from the Infobox. There's nothing in the article to suggest he ever changed his nationality from Mulhouse (or maybe Swiss). If this is the case, the heading isn't needed per WP:INFONAT. Aoeuidhtns (talk) 18:57, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
