Pluralising

edit

If the opening sentence of the article reads like a misprint, something is wrong. Since the article does not explain the pluralising of the subject, the lede does not summarise the article. I guess that the article has been written by someone too close to the subject to see that it is non-encyc. Valetude (talk) 16:31, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: Moved. Absence any consensus here that the move should not be reverted, or strong evidence that the prior name was wrong, it will be put back to the previous title. Future moves should be made through an WP:RM request rather than boldly.  — Amakuru (talk) 15:34, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Jo VannicolaJoanne Vannicola – The move to "Jo Vannicola" was premature. Vannicola is credited as "Joanne" in their latest work – see: the Expanse season 6 episode 6 (release date January 13, 2022)[1] and the short film Trashed (2021)[2]. Vannicola referred to themself as "Joanne" on Twitter 1 year ago, apparently after their Twitter nickname was changed to "Jo"[3]. They haven't changed the name "Joanne" in their Facebook profile.[4] And I can't find any indication that Vannicola doesn't want to be credited as "Joanne" or that they consider it to be a former name. That tweet reads like they are referencing a former name, but otherwise it does seem like they are comfortable with both—blindlynx 20:08, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
