• Oppose. Virangana Lakshmibai is not the common name in the English language. A search on Google news produces the following English language results:

• "Jhansi Junction railway station" 3 (5 hits, 3 in English)
• "Jhansi Junction station" 0
• "Jhansi railway station" About 85 (170 hits, about half in English)
• "Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction railway station" 0
• "Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi railway station" 0
• "Virangana Lakshmibai railway station" 26 (62 hits, 26 in English)
• "Virangana Lakshmi bai railway station" 0
• "Virangana Laxmibai railway station" 3 (3 hits, 3 in English)

The evidence provided by the proposer is good evidence that Indian Railways use "Virangana Lakshmibai" or "Virangana Lakshmi Bai" as part of the name. But that does not prove that the name is in common use. This 15 February 2022 article from The Wire (India) explains local resentment of the new name. The proposer is of course to be applauded in including "Jhansi" in his/her proposed name for the article on the station.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:12, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
