J. J. Hanrahan → JJ Hanrahan – Although MOS:INITIALS states the normal correct way of initialising a name is capitalised followed by a full stop, it states that if the person has a different preferred style it can be used or a majority of sources use a certain variant. In this case the players social media uses JJ Hanrahan (Twitter) and all sources use JJ Hanrahan including primary sources from the clubs he has played for and secondary sources also (Munster Profile, Ultimate Rugby, ESPN, Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent, Limerick Leader, Belfast Telegraph). There are no sources (that aren't linked to Wikipedia) that use J. J.. There was previously consensus on identical moves for RG Snyman, CJ Stander and JP Pietersen but a move cannot be made due to the redirect page. Rugbyfan22 (talk) 12:44, 3 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
