Inconsistent birth year

edit

Granted, even she doesn't know her actual age, but the birth year in the lead is different from the infobox. Let's at least change it to be consistent. Greggydude (talk) 13:00, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I was just going to mention that, between the opening paragraph and the infobox, there's a three-year range (1978-1980), you could at least try to be consistent. --75.71.111.210 (talk) 04:44, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
It seems to me that someone should refrain from "calculating" dates. The news article is published on 12 April 2013 and stated that she's 33 years old, so the range is 13 April 1979 (34 years minus one day from the publication date) to 12 April 1980 (33 years from the publication date). Besides the date in the infobox is in a template that calculates it automatically for you, so I will wager that one is correct... no need to bring it to the talkpage... --Cold Season (talk) 18:08, 15 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

March 2018 modifications

edit

In the last week I made a lot of modifications so I might as well. Explain some of them. For a start, there is the addition of the Ourhouse films. So since those got released as parts of art exhibitions or in selected public screenings (mostly universities), I wasn't sure where to put them. Ultimately I decided to consider films, since they were only published online afterwards (Episode 5 still hasn't been) which means they should not be considered web shorts. If anybody considers it more logical for those to be somewhere else, I guess this is the place to discuss it. Then, there is the fact that I listed all four shorts Christie was a part of (she is not in Episode 5 to the best of my knowledge) as separate movies, because this is what they seem to be considered as instead of one long movie. After all, they were published separately, and Episode 5 was published only in 2016.

Lastly, you will notice that Episode 4 is listed before Episode 2. Due to the films only having very limited websites talking about them, I couldn't get precise premiere dates for the films, however I found several sources (notably the director's official release of the video on the internet) listing the short as being a 2010 work, which would mean it was published before Episode 2 and 3. You will also notice that I divided her career into three sections, basically one for her beginnings, one starting when she joined Game of Thrones, and one starting in 2015 when she notably joined Star Wars. I believed it to be logical.

Lastly, I was the one that added The Dress to her filmography back when it was first released. However, I named her character "The Woman" as a sort of placeholder hoping somebody would know the official name of her character. Given that nobody has, I suspect that her character might simply have no name, has it is mostly a visual work with no proper character. So, I don't know if it is pertinent to keep the "The Woman" credit, or replace it by something else. Hope my contributions improved the article. Thank you. --Hyliad (d), March 11, 2018, 19:13 (CEST)

This section says she's in a relationship with Mr Blobby, but the citations beside it say that she's in a relationship with Giles Deacon. I don't think Giles Deacon has been Mr Blobby. NikkiVikki (talk) 18:08, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
