Can someone with more knowledge of this than me correct the article? As it stands now, it claims that he was found dead in a hospital in Cairo, as well as in a hotel! Bjelleklang - talk Bug Me 01:39, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

If anyone wants to expand the Egyptology section, here is a good link to a book on google books - The golden age of Tutankhamun: divine might and splendor in the New Kingdom By Zahi A. Hawass -- Lady Meg (talk) 01:05, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I would like to see the relationship between the Earl, and Alfred de Rothschild described in more detail. Especially the multi-million-dollar dowry de Rothschild paid Mr Herbert, for marrying Alina. The Earl desperately the money needed to bring his famous castle up to snuff, and, of course, to underwrite archeological expeditions. Encouraged by the success of "Downton Abbey", PBS in the U.S.A. had an excellent programme regarding Carnarvon castle, and the 5th Earl, in which the marriage and the archeology were discussed; together with a substantial interview of the current Earl and his wife, who maintain the castle meticulously. And, have done so at great expense, and effort; including the management of extensive agricultural projects - whilst maintaining an admirable display of the 5th Earl's Egyptology achievements. Apparently the Carnarvon family fortunes were effectively rescued - one might say renewed - by de Rothschild's capital.76.9.90.80 (talk) 08:08, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
