Mistakes in the musical section?

I have never seen a playbill in which Gavroche is mentioned to be the son of the Thénardiers, but it could be that it's done on some playbills of productions I haven't seen. So, please, could anyone cross check this? Also, what is meant by the musical changing the song that Gavroche signs at the barricade? "Little people", although much shorter, is to the same tune as "C'est la faute à..." and the lyrics can't really be counted in translation, can they. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.167.16.135 (talk) 15:38, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

The Elephant.

As anyone reading this almost definetly knows, the giant elephant sculpture is on today's Did You Know list. But this article still has a red link about it. I would likely to alter the "no imaginary construction" red link specificly; I am just not sure at what its trying to say. It leads curretnly to this nonexistant page: "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Elephant-siderography-LaBastille.jpg&action=edit&redlink=1" Since I cant figure hwich picture *exactly* this is supposed to be, im replacing it with a link from the Elephant of the Bastille entry, the one which I think is best for a side view. Wait, wait the problems bigger than that. Heres the code from the article and nearby words: "This was no imaginary construction; located at..." I cant figure out how to fix that image link to actually be an image link. I tried but, yeah. Is There Singing in the Novel?

In the section about Gavroche in the novel, Inspiration and Character, the last paragraph begins:

The words of the song sung by Gavroche before his death are a parody of conservative views about the French Revolution

Is there singing in the Novel by Victor Hugo? I haven't read it, but placing this paragraph in the section for the character in the novel, along with another later reference ("The version on the French concept album, however, is the same as in the book"), suggest that there is singing in the novel. If there is not, shouldn't this be moved to the section for the character in the musical?

The second reference to their possibly being singing in the novel occurs in the section on the Mackintosh version of the musical.

The musical changes the song that Gavroche sings at the barricade. (The version on the French concept album, however, is the same as in the book.) The song was restored in the Broadway revival and is titled "Ten Little Bullets".

Does "book" here mean the novel by Victor Hugo or the libretto of the original movie adaptation? It is a little difficult to follow this paragraph as to which song is sung in what version. Ileanadu (talk) 17:42, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

List of actors

I haven't studied this section in depth, but are all of these actors listed notable? Were all the productions notable? Is such a lengthy list necessary? Can it be trimmed and maintained before it becomes a relentlessly growing obscene and untidy article section? Orphan Wiki 23:17, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

I'll add to this right now by saying it's a shame that the actor's list has been completely ousted. It's really fun to look through where these actors' current careers as a "where are they now" sort of thing. Here it is, just to keep it even if we can't keep it on the actual page. So far, I've been able to confirm nearly all of these names through all of my playbills (and programs not from the playbill company), except some London productions. What you think is "really fun" belongs on a fan site, not on Wikipedia, which is meant to be encyclopedic in nature. A list of actors who played the role is ephemera of the worst sort. Notable portrayals would be something else again, but most likely more appropriate on the entry for the musical or film, not the entry for this individual character.Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 22:49, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
