Unless there are any objections, I'll field this one Josh. Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:34, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Midnightblueowl: Thanks a lot; I think I've gotten to everything. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:25, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

In general, very good. There is nothing here that I can see as an impediment to GA status. There are a few points perhaps worthy of a little discussion, however:

  • "(Oxford, 1998)" and "(Oxford, 2012" - this does not appear to contravene any Wikipedia regulations, but it is not a common site. Moreover, I am unsure if we should be using "Oxford" as a synonym for OUP; those familiar with scholarly literature (in Britain and maybe other Western countries) will be familiar with such an abbreviation but I doubt more general readers would. Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:38, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "two-level utilitarianism of R. M. Hare" - Hare has already been introduced in the previous paragraph, so perhaps we could lose the "R. M."? Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:38, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "biocentrism" - could we get a link? This isn't a word that I am familiar with and thus I suspect that most readers will have the same problem. Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:38, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • It's currently linked at the first mention in the infobox, the lead and the article body; was there somewhere in particular you thought a link would be appropriate? Josh Milburn (talk) 22:42, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "going on to study" - "studying for"? Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:39, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • There are no ISBNs or DOIs in the "Cited texts". Not essential, but recommended. Midnightblueowl (talk) 13:42, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • I've added DOIs, ISBNs and some courtesy links where possible to the bibliography and cited texts. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:11, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Any images that we could use? Maybe of one of the universities that Varner attended? Midnightblueowl (talk) 14:17, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • I've added an image. I'm speaking at a conference put together by Varner in March, so I'll be sure to take a camera. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:22, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Great work, Josh. I'm happy to promote this one. Midnightblueowl (talk) 15:35, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
