I made the English article reflect the French one.
In this context, "pays" actually means more or less "region", which not necessarily reflect the current administrative regions 83.177.206.183

It is asserted here, without evidence, that aigues mortes means dead waters. This needs some explanation—a word or two— because that is not modern French, I believe. Occitan, perhaps?
The entry for the city is linked to, but i didn't see anything there that backed this up. Actio (talk) 00:43, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
