I don't see the discussion that is alleged to exist here, nor where one has actually existed. I do agree, though, that the article seems to be rather "glowing" for a role player, and a 1-for-3 game with two walks is probably not worthy of inclusion as a "career highlight" in an encyclopedia. Also, an OBP of .429 is good, but reaching base 15 times out of 35 does not constitute a very statistically significant fact, considering the small sample set. I guess what I am saying is, and not to take anything away from Rico, is this...he probably had a really good batting eye, but I'm not sure citing a .429 OBP on a small sample set is worthy of inclusion.
