This article credits Kenny Hotz for writing this episode, but Trey Parker is listed in the episode's end credits as writer. Why?

I took some time to type up Stan & Kyle's Day 4 Daily Egg Evaluation. I think it might make a good item to add under trivia/notes. If anyone agrees, go ahead and toss it in. GameCreator 18:46, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

May someone explain how the egg hatching fits into current US issues? --Abdull 20:22, 3 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • It doesn't. Not every episode is current events-related. (Though the gay marriage plot deals with an issue that's been going on for a while now.) --Upset_Your_Balance

Edits made 12/9/2005 edit

I've made a few edits for clarity to this article, summarized below:

Diminished use of the word 'meanwhile' to avoid repetition Sentences reworded for clarity and brevity Brief explanation of the reason Garrison asked the kids to care for eggs added

No changes to the meaning or intent were made.

Assassin and Solid Snake edit

"The assasin looks very similar to Solid Snake of the Metal Gear series, But even more similarity to his father Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3."

The assassin looks nothing like solid snake.

Solid Snake :: Assassin

No, the assassin looks exactly like Jean Reno! blades (talk) 19:15, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kyle's Hat edit

"As a matter of fact, it is the most amazing hat I've ever known" sounds like a reference to something. Does anyone know what? --Sonic Mew 19:45, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Or it might just be an awesome line. Not every such line needs to be stolen elsewhere, especially because it was more of an emotional moment rather than a throw-away gag. Cojrak (talk) 20:04, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
no, you're correct. stan uses the exact same intonation and style of captain picard in star trek: first contact, when he apologizes to mr. worf after calling him a coward by saying: "in fact, i think you're the bravest man i have ever known." [1] 67.193.21.101 (talk) 06:13, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Goofs edit

I deleted that section because it made little sense. The kids are fourth graders, it's not a 'goof' if they make a grammatical error. That's a character mistake, not the show's mistake.

I think I´ve seen another Goof: As Stan was sitting at a table having Kyle on the phone, a glass of water was on the table, but as soon as he hung up, the glass disappeared. 89.48.205.205 10:47, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

If Kyle made a copy egg and gave it to Stan, then the egg that they brought in to school would have been Stan's fake egg, and Mrs. Garrison would have noticed the fake signature on it when she checked it. If the egg she checked was the real one, Stan would have realized there were two. Mac OS X 21:22, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Followthategg.png edit

Image:Followthategg.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
