The result of the move request was: Moved to Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia per discussion. (closed by non-admin page mover) B dash (talk) 10:15, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Fate/Grand Order (anime) → Fate/Grand Order (franchise) – While the current lead text seems to suggest that this article is about the anime television adaptation, the entire article and infobox actually talk about the whole franchise except the video game Fate/Grand Order (but does mention another video game). Since it serves as the franchise article, it should be named as such per WP:NCTV. Also, as a side note, even if this was the page for the television series, it would have been "(TV series)" per both the television guidelines and the anime-project ones. - Move to Fate/Grand Order in other media - I am no expert, but it seems like the "root" franchise based on Fate/stay night which includes the wording "Fate/stay night spawned the Fate media franchise" (broken down at Fate (disambiguation)#Fate franchise), so using (franchise) here may not be ideal. Would encourage editors to draft up a Fate (franchise) article to fill this role, though. -- Netoholic @ 19:43, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- I think it would be better to move it to Fate/Grand Order (TV series), and merge the remaining bits back into Fate/Grand Order. The films could probably stand alone as separate articles as well. Treating it as a separate franchise doesn't seem right. —Xezbeth (talk) 06:43, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
- Split to Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia and Fate/Grand Order: Divine Realm of the Round Table Camelot and merge the rest back to Fate/Grand Order - Moving everything here is a BIG NO-NO. Especially its already as convoluted as it is, especially on the "Let's move all things related the FGO to a separate article". It's stupid. If there are things that would need to seprate its both the upcoming Anime and the 2-part film. Lastly, remove the whole move the whole move bot thing, its embarrassing to your kouhai. I even has to move everything back to where they are! Just do close the whole thing.--BlackGaia02 (talkpage if you dare) (talk) 12:06, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
- Rename to Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia, remove or move rest back to Fate/Grand Order The video game is the franchise page. Look at Fate/stay night, Fate/Zero, Fate/Apocrypha. That's how the franchise pages are being organized for the main products in the Fate franchise. It should NOT be at (anime) since that is a deprecated disambiguation (discussion at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)/Archive_141#RFC:_Is_“(anime)”_a_suitable_disambiguator?). Fate/Grand Order (TV series) would be the preferred title if it didn't have a distinct subtitle of Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia. Create Round Table Camelot later; there is not enough information for this 2020 film to have its own article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:28, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
- Rename to Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia, remove or move rest back to Fate/Grand Order as per reasons by AngusWOOF. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 07:22, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
@Xezbeth, Blackgaia02, AngusWOOF, and Alucard 16: - The page we're discussing was created to give short summaries of multiple adaptations - NOT specifically about the Babylon series. Wouldn't it be better to simply create a separate new Babylon article as Blackgaia02 suggested? Since this page is an overview of several adaptations, Fate/Grand Order in other media is a better, standard title because that's how we often name articles like this one that cover multiple adaptations (see Iron Man in other media, for example). -- Netoholic @ 08:49, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Netoholic:: People don't even need a seprate article for just the media franchise itself because the Game article is serving that very purpose. I'll be even more of a mess to maintain and PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT THE GAMES AND THE ANIME, and its better for everything to be merged back. The whole "oh no! it's annoyingly confusing let's put it in another article" should NEVER BE a valid reason to make a Fate/Grand Order in other media. Because no one likes that move. Not even Wikipedia mods.--BlackGaia02 (talkpage if you dare) (talk) 10:33, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- But manga? Smeagol 17 (talk) 11:40, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- Manga will be merged back to the main article.--BlackGaia02 (talkpage if you dare) (talk) 15:08, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
