I'll give this a review shortly. Wizardman 02:29, 4 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Here's what I found:

  • " (Spanish "Little Terror" or "Little Scare")" Spanish for
  • Fixed
  • "often watching hometown wrestlers Espanto II and Espanto III wrestle in his home town" keep consistent on hometown either being one or two words.
  • Reworded one to avoid repeating it.
  • "better known as Espanto II as also received further training" and also received
  • Fixed
  • "first competitors in the newly create" newly created
  • Fixed
  • "The troup of Mini-Estrellas would continue to ue the " troupe, use
  • Fixed
  • "with Octagocito " Octagoncito (I'm pretty sure I caught all the typos but reread the article and make sure there aren't any more)
  • Fixed
  • The legal rights section is still confusing to me. Espanto seems clearly used, as does Espantito here, but would the former really affect the latter, seeing as how it's technically a different name? In either case, the sentence "Although his claim to the name does not seem to all inclusive as CMLL has Espanto Jr. on their roster" sounds really odd as worded and doesn't seem necessary for Espantito's article. If you disagree then at least word it to fit with the other two better, sounds really stilted as is.
  • I do know he was given permission to work as "Espantito" by one of the originals and Hijo del Espanto I claims to have full control of the name. I added in the example from CMLL to indicate that it may be more "claim" than "fact" about the ownership of the Espanto name. Since I cannot categorically state who owns it I wanted to give the facts as they're known which are 1) Espantito was given permission to use the name 2) El Hijo del Espanto I claims he has control of the name 3) that claim is not enforced in court and may not apply to Espantito. I am trying to avoid Original research on stating if Espantito is clear and free to use the name or not. Does that make sense? Do I need to elaborate a bit more on this perhaps??

I'll put the article on hold and will pass when the issues are fixed. Wizardman 14:55, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • @Wizardman: - Thank you for your review, I have addressed all issues except the last one where I've tried to lay out the challenges around the Espanto/Espantito ownership.  MPJ-US  15:35, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
I get what you're saying on the above, so I just tweaked the wording to make it flow a bit better instead. Since everything else is fixed I'll pass the article. Wizardman 01:04, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you and the tweak makes a ton of sense.  MPJ-US  01:07, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dead? edit

Is this the same Espantito that this article is about (I know that sometimes in Mexico multiple different people have used a masked identity down the years)......? If so, then the article needs updating......... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 16:27, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
