Added in the info box. Couldn't find a chart peak position though. --Falcorian (talk) 19:58, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think that it's worth mentioning this song's role in the show Seinfeld. Maybe not on this page, but somewhere! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.221.115.157 (talk) 02:39, 3 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

David Carradine & this song? edit

In his autobiography, David Carradine states that he heard from 2 different sources that the Eagles song "Desperado" was about *him*. Is there any confirmation about this from any other source? tharkun860 19:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

This Song's No Longer Growing Trivia Sections edit

I have removed the list of covers and "In popular... whatever" sections, and I encourage input from other editors desperately. To say that, for instance, The Langley Schools Music Project covered this song has absolutely zero to do with this article. It's about the Eagles song, not what Peter Griffin said to someone in a Family Guy episode. Please, anyone out there comment for or against my edit and argument! Thank you :> Doc9871 (talk) 08:24, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

An IP editor restored this, and I am removing it again. This article is not going to be built up based on a list of any and every band who covered it, and TV shows that mentioned it; it doesn't work like that. I encourage any editor watching this page to comment here and discuss first rather than restoring this list, because this tagged list is quite detrimental to the article, and I will fight for its exclusion like a "Desperado". Desperado Cartoon. edit

I saw a 'cartoon' of a cowboy riding fences with this song playing. It was in the early 70's and a simple animation, in black and white, I believe. I understand the song might have had a different name back then. Can anybody find this and let me know? 71.68.19.210 (talk) 12:49, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

TV movie theme different version? edit

The TV movies based on this song seemed to use a different recording of it than the standard Eagles version—a different orchestration, and Don Henley singing solo without any backup. Is there any information to be found about this version anywhere? It would be good to add to the page. —Robotech_Master (talk) 03:19, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
