Death of Hangthong Thammawattana → Hangthong Thammawattana – Procedural nomination; I closed an AfD on this article as keep. There is currently no article on the politician, just this article on his death. This move would re-scope this article to be about the politician (not just his death). power~enwiki (π, ν) 02:47, 28 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Neutral. If and when the article is fully developed, the case would probably have enough content to warrant a separate article lest it become an undue weight on the biography article. But for now I have no problem with re-scoping the article to cover both the person and the case. --Paul_012 (talk) 03:10, 28 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Support. As a rule, "death of" articles are only done for people who were notable only for the circumstances of their death itself, but would not have been notable enough to just have a conventional biography — if a person was notable enough to have a conventional biography, however, then their death does not need its own separate article as a separate topic.
