Many years ago I saw the unsold pilot of a "Mr. Belvedere" TV series starring the late Victor BORGE. I suspect that the name Victor BUONO in the Clifton Webb entry should be Victor BORGE. Of course it's possible, though not likely, that both Victors made such pilots.

I believe the article on Clifton Webb spends too much time on the man's sexuality and not enough on his artistry, as a singer, dancer, and actor. Is it necessary to call a friend of Webb's a "lesbian singer" and to say that Webb admitted to being gay, as if it were a crime? The short paragraph near the end of the piece, about Webb's sexuality, announces that Webb was asexual... How does Wikipedia know this?

I propose that the article be revised not to hide the man's gay identity, but to ensure the focus of the review is on the man's ART.

As I have stated elsewhere, Wikipedia is notorious for discussing someone's sexuality. Bio after bio, gay actors, actresses, and other such personae, are always outed on Wikipedia. I purport that, Wikipedia, is homophobic? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.188.131 (talk) 00:35, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Author Keith Scott, in the definative Rocky & Bullwinkle book "The Moose That Roared", states on p. 125 that the inspiration of Mr. Peabody's voice was that of Clifton Webb in his role as "Mr. Belvedere" in the movie series. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.101.108.100 (talkcontribs) 04:09, 19 June 2005

The graphic on this page seems unrelated to the article. Furry 10:02, 1 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Uh, Clifton Webb was born in Indiana. I did not place the banner, but it makes perfect sense to me that native celebrities' articles might be tagged this way. Canonblack 22:56, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Umm the paragraph on Cheaper by the Dozen does not seem to be NPOV. Shipguy 02:32, 24 March 2006 (UTC) 02:31, 24 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Film set edit

Strange to think the set of the inn of the sixth happiness, where two great actors made their last film, be it in two different films Robert Donant and Clifton Webb. 92.10.129.17 (talk) 18:26, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
