Central Government Complex (Hong Kong)Central Government Complex – Unnecessary disambiguation. Per the policy at WP:PRECISIONCitobun (talk) 16:48, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:11, 18 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose there's a problem. Look in books and Central Government Complex (Korea) appears equally notable, though the term in English appears to be talking about several govt buildings along Sejongno, not just ko:정부서울청사. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:57, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment – I wasn't aware there was a complex in Seoul. If it has the exact same name I would suggest my move request be withdrawn and a disambiguation page be created. But that article says it has since been renamed to "Government Seoul Complex"? If that's the case, I would suggest the move still be done, and a hatnote possibly be added to the HK page? Citobun (talk) 09:09, 18 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I suspect the 2013 rename in Seoul was deliberate because of confusion with the new building in HK. But that won't affect retroactively all the Korea-related sources prior to 2013. There do appear to be a scattering of mentions for other countries too. Though Korea is the main one. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:57, 18 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
