Note: this page has been structured with sections, but not much content yet. I'm working on it. If anybody knows about whisky, by all means, fill in the blanks, or change the sections if they aren't appropriate. Thanks. Deirdre 00:35, 31 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

I've fixed the Gaelic but is the English correct? Most non-Gaelic speakers pronunciations have been closer to /kʰeilˈailə/ - not that there is a standard mispronunciation. Perhaps we should mention is has a range of mispronunciations? Akerbeltz (talk) 22:29, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Declined but improved — Coordinates were basically correct, but missed the actual location of the distillery by a couple of hundred meters. Fixed that and set the type to landmark so that the zoom level is more appropriate. Regards, TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 15:38, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Due to the commencement of construction work on the major transformation of the Caol Ila Distillery visitor experience, tours of the distillery will be restricted to a limited number of pre-booked tours. During the restricted access period we will be making Caol Ila single malt scotch whisky available for tasting and sale at Lagavulin Distillery. Out with pre-arranged tours, for the health and safety of the public while the construction work is underway the road into the distillery will be closed to traffic with no un-authorised access to the distillery or visitors centre/shop. Interest in the distillery has been at unprecedented levels over recent months and we regret not to being able to accommodate everyone who wishes to visit over the summer period. However, we are sure whisky fans will understand the restrictions are unavoidable given the scale of construction work being undertaken on-site and the need to ensure public safety.
