Jellyfish

edit

Someone might want to add a link to Cannonball Jellyfish. 66.234.57.78 (talk) 18:41, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See also section

edit

Why is there a "See Also" section that lists more cannonball-related things - two of which aren't linkable in Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Justi521 (talkcontribs) 23:40, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exploding Cannonballs?

edit

Shouldn't there be a link to an article, perhaps Shell_(projectile) which talks about exploding cannonballs, such as the ones used during the U.S. Civil War? Only linking to Round_shot (non explosive) doesn't seem sufficient. Gmporr (talk) 19:40, 9 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: moved. Cannonball is also redirected to Round shot (a separate RM can be held if you wish to move Round shot to cannonball). (non-admin closure) JudgeRM (talk to me) 19:42, 18 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

CannonballCannonball (disambiguation) – Move to retarget this title to Round shot, the clear primary topic of this term by historical significance. Every other meaning is named for this usage. I would go so far as to suggest that it would be reasonable to just move Round shot here. Compare Bullet (primary topic) and Bullet (disambiguation) (disambiguation page with numerous songs, albums, etc., named for the term). bd2412 T 19:13, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support cannonball means cannonball. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:30, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. Makes sense. The majority of the meanings on the DAB page derive from the significance of actual cannonballs. Nohomersryan (talk) 00:14, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
