editJust wondering if there is any reason that this years statistics are not uploaded onto the page both in the AHL and NHL. I am also curious as to why there is no picture uploaded of Brandon, there are plenty of pictures that could be used. Lastly there is no reference in the first paragraph of the "Playing career" section, any reasoning behind this? Steve.ristovski (talk) 23:28, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference?
- The very first introduction paragraph was not referenced appropriately, in fact there was no reference at all.
- In the Personal Life section it mentions that "Montour has won a Mento Cup with the Six Nations Lacrosse team". Reference was present, however, the article referenced was not accurately stating this fact. Was not a reliable source. It also mentions he lived in Tilbury for 8 years. This has no citation after it been stated.
- In the Playing Career section, the first paragraph has no reliable references to support each fact shown. Same section mentions when Montour scored his first career goal which isn't referenced properly. Needs an appropriate citation to show proof of the information.
- Other than these few minor citation errors, the rest of the article is reliable which allows the audience to easily read and understand the information.
Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? - All information involved in the article is currently up to date.
- Something that could be added to the article may be more information about his personal life, for instance where did he attend school or what inspired him to pursue a career in hockey.
- Also maybe some facts to support his community involvment within his home town or with the Anaheim Ducks organization.
- Could add Montour's current statistics produced in the ongoing 2017-18 NHL season.
Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
- The article expresses a variety of facts and informaton that is relevant to the topic of the article.
- The article had very little information which made it not distracting and extremely easy to read. It gave brief information on his hockey journey and how he started to pursue his career. This information was interesting and didn't have much filler to make it distracting for the audience reading the article. Ciotti14 (talk) 02:51, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
