Why is the title of the page Boston Navy Yard when all sources seem to call it Charlestown Navy Yard. Some references: Official Navy Webpage for the USS Constitution, The NPS page on Charlestown Navy Yard. and Official NOAA chart for Boston Inner Harbor. Tomkiley (talk) 18:23, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

FWIW I emailed the Park Service at the yard about this. They responded that both names of Boston and Charlestown are alternately found in official documents going back almost to the yard's establishment in 1801. Several other Navy Yards have name or location confusion, most notably New York/Brooklyn, the New London/Groton sub base, and the Portsmouth (NH) Navy Yard in Kittery, Maine, the last of which took a Supreme Court decision to resolve. Proposed List of ships built at the Boston Navy Yard

I'm proposing to move the list of ships in this article to a new List of ships built at the Boston Navy Yard. Comments and suggestions are welcome. RobDuch (talk·contribs) 22:39, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

I'll take the blame for adding most of those ships about eight years ago when the article was smaller. I concur with the move now the article has grown. Thank you for your work on this article. Thewellman (talk) 00:07, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
