The article on Beauly Priory has an error which was only discovered by myself a few years ago. Achinbady is not Beauly but Fort Augustus and is the site of the legendary "lost" monastery of St Columba at Hinba (AcHINBAdy).
Confusion has arisen because everyone translates Insula as Island, forgetting that Latin was not Adamnan's native tongue and he therefore did not speak English, but Irish Gaelic, This in turn means that the word he translated into Latin as Insula was innis, which means not just an island, but also a water meadow, the word coming down to us in Scotland as Inch, which appears in numerous place-names. I can't take the credit for spotting the error, as it was Chisholm Batten who first identified the issue.
