hey Eik Corell why are you gutting this article of information on the game? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidscheiber28 (talkcontribs) 01:09, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm not gutting it, I'm removing lists of vehicles and maps specifically per #6 of WP:GAMECRUFT. Eik Corell (talk) 09:52, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

but surely a list of features the game has doesn't fall under any of the things mentioned there, I can understand removing the list of cars but a features list? Davidscheiber28 (talk) 02:04, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Video-game article guidelines style section discourages this along with some other things. The idea is to avoid lists and write, in prose, about the things that are notable or important. The fact that game features fire for example is not, whereas the fact that it overall simulates realistically various aspects of cars is. In that vein it would be acceptable to mention a few limited examples such as aerodynamics and traction. Eik Corell (talk) 12:07, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I wanted to say a few words about crash simulator games. The first game made with body physics was made rigs of rods, which did not increase much, and it was completely forgotten that this game was made in 2005 for the body engine. The softness was OGRE, and a few years later, in 2013, the game was released on Steam called Bemg.drive, which received a lot of attention, and I myself was the first to buy this game and install the graphics engine of this Torque 3D game, which was a kind of generation. . The second OGRE engine of Bemg.drive game has been developing and updating like this since 2013. You want the end of Bemg.drive game like rigs of rods, be sure to support the game, thank you. Previous deletion edit

Just for the record, a previous article on this same topic was deleted following an Articles For Deletion discussion, readable at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BeamNG. --Nat Gertler (talk) 20:36, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

The article almost (just almost) fails to deliver secondary sources. It's not much, but the game is released now (in Steam Early Access), so I guess more sources will fly in over time. Did you become aware of this article because of me re-creating the old BeamNG article as a redirect to here? Lordtobi () 20:40, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I had that old article name on my watch list. --Nat Gertler (talk) 20:43, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello yes Hosseinrahimi G (talk) 11:46, 24 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Image edit

Hello! I noticed that there's a request for a screenshot from the game for the article. It appears there's already one depicting a crashed vehicle, so is a screenshot still needed? If so I can provide one as I own the game. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:33, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Forum discussion edit

I was in a discussion on the game's official forums and someone said that the game had initially become available as early as late May, 2012. Don't believe it but I'm inclined to ask here if an edit should be made to the page.

Also, more screenshots depicting the game and its update history would be greatly appreciated (I own the game so these can be provided on my behalf) SuperAgentAlex (talk) 17:56, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

We can't take some random user's word for it on the forums. Also the issue with screenshots is that they're non-free so we can't use a whole bunch. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:00, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Makes sense to me. SuperAgentAlex (talk) 16:17, 1 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dester12 edit

Hey Drmies. Why did you just revert the texts while i'm trying to change the date in the BeamNg.drive page. Please either comfirm it by changing this date because that does not matches with the existing time here. So please leave a reply for any reasons. There is no bad grammer and the word is usually not unclear exactly. Dester12 (talk) 19:28, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Dester12, I don't understand why you are talking about grammar or what "word" you are looking at. You changed the format of two dates, when Blaze Wolf clearly informed you that this was not OK. Drmies (talk) 19:31, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please see MOS:DATETIES and also MOS:DATEVAR. Bremen uses the DMY format and so should this article. There's no reason to change it without consensus. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:39, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Alright then Drmies and Blaze Wolf. But sometimes we use that date format (like April 30, 2022) to know the release date, that is the default format. Then you made like this different format rather than the one you see this in my preference but never mind sure. I'm sorry. Dester12 (talk) 22:01, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Technically the default format is DMY since Wikipedia uses UTC for everything. We use the MDY format if either the subject has strong national ties to places that use MDY, or if the subject has no strong national ties and the editor decides to use MDY. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 22:08, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Got it then. But for examples with the exact format: April 30, 2022. Blaze Wolf. Dester12 (talk) 14:28, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes I'm aware of that format. In fact, I've used it in an article I've made, see The Crew Motorfest. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:53, 12 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Career mode edit edit

The career mode no longer needs to be clicked on six times in order to access it. Should I edit the part where it says

"As of alpha release 0.26, the game features an experimental version of a career mode accessed by clicking the main menu button labeled "Career (coming soon)" six times."? TheWikiCyclone (talk) 07:39, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
