Two minor points. 2d Raider was commanded by Col Evans F. Carlson, hence their common name, "Carlson's Raiders". And, for reasons that elude me, the name is pronounced "muggin".
The 1942 raid section has a fragmented sentence saying the garrison was only 43 soldiers, but the very next sentence says 83 soldiers were killed. 65.95.237.4317:42, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
