Not an 'Agent Provocateur' edit

The article had listed Raviv as an "agent provocateur." There is nothing in the article or elsewhere that I can find that suggsets that he actually "provoked" or "inspired" acts. By all indications, he merely monitored. I have thus replaced "agent provocateur" with simply "agent" which is a better fit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.5.162.236 (talk) 11:33, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Amnon Abramovich or Adir Zik? edit

Good technical work, Anon. My problem was with the question whether it was Adir Zik or Amnon Abramovich, as the Hebrew Wikipedia claims (hence I put the fact request, after this paragraph). It may also have been Adir Zik on Arutz 7 and then Amnon Abromovich who made item well-known. The references below do not mention Adir Zik, so they are not helpful for anwering my question. I copy them here with a reflist, because the refs may be helpful for other parts of the article. Also, the dissonance on Zik would be more relevant to a separate Zik article. He is definitely notable. In the Raviv article, it is a side-track. gidonb 23:31, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

(Copied from the article, not written by me, parts may need to return to the article). After Rabin was assassinated, the mainstream Israeli media blamed the right for the murder. Adir Zik, an Israeli media personality known for his right religious and nationalist views, and who was blacklisted from the mainstream media because of them launched his own investigation and discovered that Raviv was a paid agent of the Shabak.
