Talk:Automation Anywhere

Latest comment: 3 years ago by Moonythedwarf in topic Article neutrality.

Hi. Given its numerous verifiable sources, this page provides information about Automation Anywhere. However, if certain parts seem to be written like an advertisement, it is not so. Please give your inputs about specific areas so that i may rewrite them. Metageeek (talk) 12:45, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've cleaned up the most blatant examples of advertising. MuffledThud (talk) 12:58, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Also, could you tell me how to provide inline citations to press coverage? Metageeek (talk) 13:08, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just use the external links as citations for something said in the article, the same way you used an inline cite for "Windows IT PRO Editor’s Best GOLD Award". Thanks, MuffledThud (talk) 13:12, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Have added inline citations. Kindly remove the tags. Metageeek (talk) 05:39, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

lingering concerns

edit

The biggest concern with the article is that it confuses the company with its products. The article should discuss the company and the awards, which are for its products, should explain that. Another issue is the external links. They should be largely removed and any useful material from them should be incorporated into the article. Again, here "useful" means material that describes the company not its products. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:55, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

possible new content (corporate, partner, product)

edit

Hello,

I work in corporate communications at Automation Anywhere. I’d like to suggest content to build out the page. One idea is to add sections on corporate updates, partner news and product updates. Here are some third-party press articles that provide information for these sections. Thank you for your consideration.

Best, Katie

content for consideration

Automation Anywhere recently had a large Series A round of funding, and also formed a new customer community. More details below for consideration. Thank you.

Automation Anywhere recently had its series A round of funding, raising money in July from four investors – lead by NEA and Goldman Sachs – and from SoftBank Vision Fund in November, totaling more than $500 million at a valuation of $2.6 billion. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/05/goldman-sachs-funds-automation-anywhere-at-billion-dollar-valuation.html

Automation Anywhere launched its customer community, named Apeople, in October 2018. Apeople provides Automation Anywhere customers, partners and the global community of automation enthusiasts a unified platform to connect with peers, share best practices, access resources, and submit suggestions and ideas that will help shape not only the Automation Anywhere product roadmap but the future of the RPA industry.

This page seems to be a frequent spam target, see above talk page messages for easy examples. The page history shows consistent addition of marketing material, and current page contents is written in a blatantly promotional manner.

"the company reported more than 2,800 current customers in 90+ countries."

WP:PUFFERY https://aimagazine.com/machine-learning/automation-anywhere-empowering-companies-with-cloud-rpa

"RPA helps companies automate repetitive processes based on rules and structured data so they can improve efficiency and reduce operating costs."

Explains the company to potential customers.
