Tune Racer

If you look at the interviews on the audiosurf website is says that a game similar to it called 'tune racer' was made first by the same man. The game is being sold and Steam and bundled with the Orange Box soundtrack. This should be mentioned in the article.

Site Advertising In External Links

I noticed a lot of links building up in the external links section. Shouldn't those only be official sources, or links related to the article and not the actual game. Since it tends to be just plain advertising. --FrostedBitesCereal (talk) 20:50, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

That tends to happen a lot. The general practice is one fansite, but only if it's comprehensive. I can see killing the reviews and video sites, I'll grant, though the stats site...outside the fact that a number of THOSE sites have popped up, such a site should be ok, I'd think. So What the hell?

It says compete with people and their songs, right? And how the hell am i supposed to do that. By loading the exact song that they have and pray? Or how about the opposite, I Load a song and how are folks gona compete to that!?

I'm gonna assume good faith and simply figure you don't understand how it works based on the article and not having played it...well basically, you play a track. It uses the ID tags in your music, and puts it on a scoreboard, and you compete with everyone else through score, not in real time. Slight Correction

Ironmode makes it faster (hence the different layout) and adds the harsh penalty for overfilling. It also removes the special functions the Mono Elite character has (not the Mono Pro). And it removes the shoulder lanes if applicable. 58.170.95.23 (talk) 14:48, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

There were 10 disks made for a convention Dylan went to, but all they contained were activation codes for Steam. So far, he has at least not told us that he released it on disk, and I would think that the the people on the Audiosurf Forums would be the first ones to know about it. We're the first to know about everything else. I would say that at the moment any news of disk versions is either untrue or illegal, as noone else has the rights to release a disk version. Audiosurf Tilt / Audiosurf: Tilt

It would appear that most people believe that the Zune HD version of the game has a colon in the title. It's listed on the Zune Marketplace as "Audiosurf Tilt". I have changed it back to this name, but if there is some naming convention or something that causes its proper title to contain a colon, please say something so I won't keep changing it. Not playable by 10% of males?

Please could someone add to the article, whether the game is playable by the one in ten males who have colour vision deficiency (colour blindness). Many games which involve colour matching also include other clear indicators, such as shape or pattern, to allow the huge number of colourblind users to play. For example, many 3-in-a-row jewel-matching games use jewels of different shapes such as hexagons, diamonds, lozenges etc. How do colourblind users play this Audiosurf?
