Still a stub!
editThe election is just around the corner guys! Any chance of expanding this, and referencing it, so that we can de-stub it? -- Mais oui! 13:07, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Prince Philip asks Annabel Goldie if she's wearing tartan knickers
editI was very surprised indeed to find that this infamous moment of comedy gold does not get a mention in this article. By a country mile it is the biggest story Goldie's name has ever been attached to, by a factor of about a thousand. For example, it is almost the only occasion her name has been mentioned in news articles outwith the UK.
According to Google Trends, the biggest 3 stories in Goldie's career are:
- Pope's UK visit: Prince Philip asks Annabel Goldie if she's wearing tartan knickers, eg. Daily Mail Sep 17 2010
- Nick Clegg's appeal 'will last as long as an insect bite' says Annabel Goldie, eg. Telegraph Apr 19 2010
- Tory general election victory would safeguard the Union, says Annabel Goldie, eg. Telegraph Oct 5 2009

It is our duty to accurately record the highpoints, and lowpoints, of careers in our biographical articles. --Mais oui! (talk) 04:20, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
