For some obscure reason, the claim has been made that her name is a reference to the "Domino Sugar Company". Her name is clearly a Spoonerism for Anno Domini. K8 fan 20:24, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
You obviously don't know what a Spoonerism is. Try following your own link! I've removed the remark. 124.176.78.82 (talk) 13:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Read it yourself. Look at the examples quoted in the article. Anna=Anno, Domino=Domini. If you disagree that it is a Spoonerism, what term is more accurate? And please consider registering. K8 fan (talk) 20:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
A spoonful of Domino sugar is sometimes sorely missed. Kiss and make up now, sweeties.

This is contradicted by the fact that in the early 80s she lived in Belgium, and scored a hit there as singer on Luc van Acker's "Zanna" (easily some of her best work; I may be biased).86.18.215.73 (talk) 12:38, 3 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
