Posthumous Knighthood?
editThe article says he, his wife, and son were knighted in 1715. But Spole himself had been dead for over a decade then. Knighthoods are not usually given out posthumously. Eh? BigMac31 (talk) 06:07, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
Correct, it was his sons who were raised to the peerage. Have updated this now. 81.228.54.151 (talk) 18:59, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
