Canadian or English edit
Even though she was raised in Canada, doesn't being born in England make Amanda an English actor? I've not edited the article in case there is a good answer to this question. FirestarXL 19:32, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
- It's possible she claims to be Canadian, she has lived there for like 37 years..especially if she has Canadian citizenship (although i'm not really sure how citizenship works across commonwealth countries). cpritchett42 05:53, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
- She is probably a naturalised Canadian Citizen as well, but would have been born a British Citizen. The real question is the nationality of her parents (which I presume is British). In either-case, the real issues are what she 'considers herself' and what passports she actually holds (if she's not claiming British Citizenship then it doesn't really apply). Height and Cup Size-Appropriate? edit
The account Indiandish and the IP address 83.251.193.112 are continually adding "Height: 1.70m Chest: 34D" to the article. I do not consider them to be encyclopedic, but trivia (especially the cup size, is there any reason at all that should be in there? since he continues to add it, I figure I'd better see if anyone else objects to me continuing to revert it. I know Amanda is a blonde. Does anyone know if she has dyed her hair dark for Sanctuary, or if she wears a wig?

Background edit
The Wikipedia article states she moved to Canada with her family when she was 3 years old, however her official website states she was 1 year old when this happened. The official website doesn't state her year of birth however so I'm not sure how accurate this biography is and so didn't edit the Wikipedia article. Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods (2009) edit
The article lists "Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods" as a 2009 film. "Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods" is in fact the first (two-parter) episode of SG-1, the entry links to a page for that episode. I believe the entry is referring to the re-edited DVD re-release of the first two episodes, however the episode page has no mention of this and it seems confusing to credit it as a separate film from the series on this page. It also seems inconsistent with how other filmographies are listed, Mark Hamill's page doesn't have separate entries for the 1997 re-release of the Star Wars films, for example. 74.69.36.58 (talk) 23:55, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

In 1996, Amanda Tapping is listed as "Annie" in Season 4 of Kung-Fu: The Legend Continues. She also guest-starred in the same series in 1994, Season 2, episode "An Ancient Lottery," aired February 16, 1994, as "McIllroy's girlfriend."
