Giuliani expulsion from NYSBA inquiry edit

Why was this removed? It seems like a notable event. I think this was removed before the article was split, but I just noticed it. --Numberguy6 (talk) 06:13, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I was wondering this too. It was in the last version before the split. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 12:05, 15 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree, it is a notable event, and the final results of Giuliani's disbarment trial should be included, once it fully runs its course.

It appears just his license is suspended now (temporary disbarment) and the the trial isn't quite over yet, but when it is, then the results should be added.

Perhaps link to Suspension of law license part of the article on Rudy Giuliani.

this document has a high probability of being doctered via wikipedia posters/secret vips that have clearence that's wiki secret based on a past election that was secret. Someone out there watch over this possible threat, thank you! 172.56.105.131 (talk) 22:22, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Harry Dunn, capitol police officer edit

The hot link for officer Harry Dunn points to a Wikipedia article for a British football player. I think there is no Wikipedia page for this policeman. I'll leave fixing it to someone who knows how to make it an empty link. Scryer~enwiki (talk) 22:57, 24 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

level of detail here versus a related page edit

Right now, under Lawsuits, the section says "Main article: Post-election lawsuits related to the 2020 United States presidential election". The Lawsuits section here has no information about the bulk of the civil suits on the Main page, yet it also has more information than the Main article on several of the DC suits. It's also missing other suits, including the GA and DC criminal suits filed against Trump. I'm wondering if the Lawsuits section here should be cut to a few lines noting the civil suits in multiple states + DC, and noting the criminal suits, with the detail that's currently here on the DC suits mostly moved to the Main article. That article is also out of date, and it would be easier to update it than have to update both it and this page. Another problem is that that page refers people to a DC page for yet more detail, but that DC page has no information about the post-election lawsuits in DC. A lawsuits section needs to be added there, presumably with even more details (and perhaps that's ultimately the right place for some of the details that are currently here). What do others think about shortening this section, improving the Summary of post-election lawsuits section on the Main page referred to here, and creating a Post-election lawsuits section on the DC page? FWIW, I left a related question on another talk page. FactOrOpinion (talk) 18:49, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

@FactOrOpinion I believe Post-election lawsuits related to the 2020 United States presidential election was originally intended to be only about civil lawsuits related to disputes over voting (e.g. methods, eligibility) and election results. Originally on the other hand, I thought that the "Lawsuits" section (in this Talk Page's article) was for lawsuits related directly to the January 6 United States Capitol attack.
My impression is that 2020 United States presidential election#Lawsuits should be the top-level summary (WP:SUMMARYSTYLE) for all related lawsuits. Post-election lawsuits related to the 2020 U.S. presidential election should have "see also" tags to the "Lawsuits" section (in this Talk Page's article) and to other criminal prosecutions that are related to the election. rootsmusic (talk) 18:37, 25 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
