Wikipedia:WikiProject Terrorism
![]() | This is a WikiProject, an area for focused collaboration among Wikipedians. New participants are welcome; please feel free to participate!
|
Wikipedia:Terrorism is a project that was founded in January 2006 by Sherurcij hoping to address the lack of information about individuals and events commonly associated with modern terrorism.
While we have to date limited ourselves to acts of violence against civilians by Violent non-state actors ("VNSAs") for political gain, users are encouraged to add their own new focus. It is impossible to fully separate "terrorism" from "counter-terrorism", as the methods used are often similar.
This page contains suggestions about articles which should be created or need additional work. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of several Wikipedians, and you are always welcome to join, or ask questions.
Articles related to this project's scope should be tagged by adding {{WikiProject Terrorism}} to their talk page. They will be assessed as per Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team standards by the assessment unit.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them on our discussion page or through our IRC channel (#wikipedia-en-terror).
GoalsEdit

A second set of eyes?Edit
I uploaded an Image:Ali Hamza Al Bahlu'sl boycott sign.jpg. The Miami Herald republished it, attributing it to "Department of Defense Records". It will probably expire from the Miami Herald's image server pretty quickly. I'd appreciate it if someone was to leave a note on the talk page confirming the Miami Herald's attribution to the DoD -- prior to its expiry. Thanks! Geo Swan (talk) 17:29, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
The recently added article Sanatan Sanstha has been subjected to repeated whitewashing by various editors. More eyes would be welcome.LeadSongDog come howl 18:41, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Continuing. Eyes are still needed. LeadSongDog come howl! 15:01, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
