Speedy deletion nomination of Post-Troubles violence edit

Hello Kathleen's bike,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Post-Troubles violence for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Post-Troubles violence to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Help request edit

Regarding the history of the Michele Evans (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) redirect/article. Looking at the page log it appears this was a redirect until some time around 10 January 2024 (probably 9 January), presumably by the IP 69.117.93.145. Could anyone confirm the exact date/time the redirect was changed into an article please, as it relates to edits made on 9 January by the IP and a related account. Thanks. "Supported by" in conflict infoboxes is deprecated edit

It would be a good idea for you to post messages at Talk:Papua conflict and Talk:Indonesian National Revolution#Supported by: explaining why you think that these articles should not have "supported by" in their infoboxes. This would be useful to other editors who might not realise that this feature of infoboxes is inappropriate for such articles. (I assume that you do not want other editors reverting to the version before your edits.)-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:03, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I will do that later. The most problematic editor will not be able to revert for now, unless they decide to continue this disruptive editing as an IP. I feel an enforcement request while they are blocked is a bit pointless, but if they continue after the block I will make an enforcement request asking for them to be banned from edits relating to infoboxes, which would allow them to edit productively elsewhere. Kathleen's bike (talk) 13:48, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. I did not know that "supported by" fields in infoboxes were deprecated before your edits. As implemented in these Indonesia-related conflict articles they were confusing, and their values were subject to edit turbulence.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:46, 19 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
