Part III
editPart III is merely in development, and this does not indicate that it will actually be produced, much less released. I removed Part III from parts of the film series article where it looked like Part III was a sure thing, because it is not. The start of filming is a proper threshold to include it, not before, when anything can hinder it from being made. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 17:06, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Erik, there's an apparent update in this February 7, 2024 article: "A more direct sequel to the first two films, A Quiet Place: Part III, was previously okayed for a 2025 release, but the timeline for that development has since changed." A source, such as the studio or anyone involved, isn't given. If someone finds another article providing a source or a more explicit statement, please post it. "The timeline has changed" isn't saying much beyond a vague implication that it might not be released in 2025. Lapadite (talk) 09:27, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Good share! I find that source reliable for mentioning that the timeline has changed, so I would support its inclusion. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:35, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but to me it's not saying something that's useful for readers. It's not explictly stating that the film will not be released in 2025, and it's not stating if the studio or anyone else provided any information. So the most we can add to the article is something like: "According to Entertainment Weekly in February 2024, the timeline has changed." Perhaps we should wait for a clearer update, at least to make a change to the lead? Lapadite (talk) 02:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
- Whatever you think is best! When in doubt, quote directly. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:03, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

A Quiet Place (film series) → A Quiet Place (franchise) – Not just restricted to films, also includes a video game. Kailash29792 (talk) 02:44, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support as per nom. Manasbose (talk) 07:26, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support as starting with a video game, I believe that this franchise will continue to expand more over time as well. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 11:29, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose While I agree with Obi-WanKenobi-2005 that there almost certainly will be more to come, as of right now I don't agree that a single video game is enough to make it full fledged franchise.★Trekker (talk) 00:05, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. WP:CRYSTAL. One video game, that is in development, doesn't define it as a franchise. Retitling this is jumping the gun right now. It's best to wait untill it is actually established as a franchise by the release of other media or, at least, a notable game that multiple sources write about. - Does this change anything? Kailash29792 (talk) 11:54, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
