Omitting the year from the title edit

This article has been named as if it were an event, but I wonder if the year is needed. Sure, the referendum for Oregon's Ballot Measure 110 took place at the November 2020 elections, but the measure itself is broader than the vote. It needs to be proposed, first, then put onto the ballot, voted on, and then passed into law. The title would suggest this all happened in 2020, but some of it didn't. Consequently, it is not an event, as such, but a political process for changing the law. Also, the measure appears to carry a unique number, so omitting the year will results in a more concise title, such as Oregon's Ballot Measure 110. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 21:06, 24 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I see that 2012 Oregon Ballot Measure 80 and 2004 Oregon Ballot Measure 37 and 2007 Oregon Ballot Measure 49 both start with a year. Oregon Ballot Measures 47 and 50 does not have the year. I do not know enough about this issue to have an opinion either way. FrankSier (talk) 16:57, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
