Thank you for merging the two articles. BTW was he born in 1832 or 1833? The other article had 1832 as the French version. -- User:Docu

Gaboriau was born in Saujon in 1832, according to the "Robert des Noms Propres" entry.

"Published in the Pays" sounds rather weird (which "pays" ?), and the link to "pays" as an administrative entity is certainly a mistake. AFAiK, "L'affaire Lerouge" was published in "Le Siècle", a newspaper. Another newspaper called "Le Pays" may or may not have existed, I don't know, but that's a possible source for the confusion. 62.62.174.44 (talk) 15:28, 12 May 2011 (UTC)ABReply
