Shameless title.png

Shameless is an American television comedy-drama series which premiered on Showtime on January 9, 2011.[1] Created by Paul Abbott the series is adapted by John Wells based upon the British series of the same name. HBO began developing an American version of Shameless after striking a deal with John Wells in January 2009.[2] By October 2009 the development had moved to Showtime. John Wells Productions filmed a pilot episode for the cable network in December 2009.[3]

As of March 10, 2019, 110 episodes of Shameless have aired, concluding the ninth season. The series was renewed for a tenth season, which will premiere on November 3, 2019.[4][5]
