Orphan no more and other issues edit
I just wanted to advise that I inserted several links on the Sherwood Ross article to other Wikipedia articles. These include James Meredith's "March Against Fear,"; WOL (AM) Radio; Whitney Young Jr.; and Fast Folk musical collections. I hope this suffices to remove it from "orphan" status. I could have added others, but did not want to engage in "over-linking."
I would also like some feedback as to the "Lack of Encyclopedic tone" the article is said to suffer from. I would counter that anything overtly positive or flattering that was said about the subject was attributed to a source -- i.e., James Meredith as quoted in the Chicago Sun-Times obituary, or famed reporter Carl Bernstein, as he depicted the subject in his 1971 magazine profile of WOL (AM).
If the concern has to do with the subheads, then please let me know as these can be edited. When writing these, I tried to follow the guidance about "being bold" in writing the copy, including the subheads. I could have simply used "Early Career" instead of "From The Daily News to Richard J. Daley," for example. Or "Songs and Poetry" rather than "He 'Sliced Pastrami for the CIA.'" Those are easy fixes.
Please advise, as I would like to get the tags removed stating that there are multiple problems with the article.
