Contested deletion edit

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... the information I put in the article are from reliable source. Andrew Mangham's book about Lerro is an academic book published from an academic publisher in England and I think that professor Francesco D'Episcopo's two monographs about this author are reliable sources too. All information I provided have been quoted (and reworked) from those volumes (and from a degree thesis about this author). In addition the author has a very relevant bio-bibliography, including important prizes and magazine reviews from important scholars and critics. Furthermore I have asked kindly to you to help a bit to fix this article because I am not native English speaker, but you did not answer... Besides I added citations so as an expert editor of Wikipedia suggested me to do and cut youtube references as well. I do not think, indeed, that my article is for "speedy deletion" and would like to ask you again to help to fix it in order to show an encyclopedic tone. Best wishes. --Gingeksace (talk) 06:48, 27 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... I have not strong contacts with the author. I have just asked him by email the permission to use his pictures and he kindly send me many. In addition the page was born as a draft which was accepted as a pretty good work. About the author: he has strong bibliography: monography both in Italy and England about him from accademic professors. He is included in relevant magazine of literature (like Nuovi Argomenti) and has won first prizes for literature. Moreover he is the author of around 30 creative volumes and has beeen translated into Eglish and othe languages. I do not think, to be honest, that this page (which has been created with the help of many wikipedians) must be deleted (moreover in a speedy way). I tried to improve it as much as possible and I think it is a good article, whithout any emphasis, which could be improved with the help of more native Eglish speakers. If possible, I would like to ask you to keep the page and help to improve it. Best wishes. Gingeksace (talk) 16:07, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

COI tag (August 2022) edit

I wish to underline I just made a section to explain I have contacted my subject Menotti Lerro to ask to use his pictures. I wish to add that maybe through my enthusiasm, but lack of knowledge of the rules, I've made something of a mess. Sorry!! Gingeksace (talk) 08:20, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality of Andrew Mangham citation edit

It seems that Andrew Mangham was Letto's teacher, calling the independence/neutrality of the source into question. Netherzone (talk) 16:45, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

It actually does, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Menotti Lerro and then visualize history of older revisions: It seems as like this talk were been emptied after deletion --Marta1978 (talk) 22:37, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Merging content from New Manifesto of Arts following the deletion discussion edit

Following the outcome of the deletion discussion for the article, New Manifesto of Arts, it was decided to merge the content of that article here. See : Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New Manifesto of Arts - "the result was merge to Menotti Lerro as an ATD." The vast majority of that article was already duplicated here. I cleaned up some of the content and merged the relevant points. Both articles have WP:CITEKILL - the short one paragraph on the New Manifesto section has 23 citations; most were duplicates. Pinging the AfD closing admin Liz to request closure of the merge template on both articles, and the deletion of New Manifesto of Arts. Netherzone (talk) 19:35, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New Manifesto of Arts edit

The decision at the deletion discussion was to merge to this one. There wasn't much at the source article that isn't already here, so I've simply redirected. A link to the pre-redirect version of the article is here: [2] Joyous! | Talk 05:54, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
