Monster is a Norwegian film and television production company that produces movies, commercials, and TV-programs. It was founded by Olav Øen, Trond Kvernstrøm and Edward Dreyer at the end of 2001, and we're active in the market from the beginning of 2002.

The Group consists of the subsidiaries Monster Entertainment, Monster Film, Monster Format, Monster Scripted and Monster Commercials, which is responsible for the actual within television and film production.

Monster produces programs for Norwegian TV channels, and is among other things The Gold Window, 4-Stars Dinner and The X Factor.

Together with Finlands largest production company Varesvuo Group, the Danish production company and the private investment company Cap-Man established Monster in the 2008 company A Nice Company, a new Nordic production within television, movies and commercials.

Cap-Man was the majority owner of the company.

but in 2013, became MTG (Modern Times Group) who was also the owner of TV3 and the production company Strix, new majority owner in the company.

Monster became in 2018 transferred together with the rest of MTG's television business to Nordic Entertainment Group and Fremantle which was created after the merger was not approved.

In connection with the transfer changed A Nice Company name to NENT Studios Norway and Fremantle Norge AS.

Monster announced in a press release in November 2019 that the company mergers Monster Entertainment, Monster Scripted and Monster Format into a company.
