Lego Horizon Adventures is an upcoming 2024 action-adventure video game developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo in association with The Lego Group, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set as a spin-off entry in the Horizon series, the game sees players fight enemies in a Lego-themed environment.[1][2]

Gameplay

edit

The game is said to be completely antithetical to other Lego video games made in the past by British developer TT Games.[3] The game will be featuring characters from Horizon Zero Dawn such as Aloy and Rost.[3]

Development

edit

Following TT Games' exclusivity deal for Lego video games on consoles coming to an end, which has resulted in a trend of games from other major video game developers such as 2K's Lego 2K Drive and Epic Games' Lego Fortnite, it was announced during the 2024 Summer Game Fest that The Lego Group partnered with PlayStation Studios to develop a new Lego-themed game based on the Horizon series known as Lego Horizon Adventures.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, the game will be the first PlayStation exclusive game to come to a Nintendo console ever since Wipeout 64.[4][5]

Release

edit

The game is set to be released sometime during Holiday 2024 onto PlayStation 5, Windows, via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch.[6]
