Bricks & Minifigs is the largest authorized buy, sell, trade LEGO retail franchise in North America.
Bricks & Minifigs traces its origins to two LEGO enthusiasts who opened the first brick and mortar store in 2010. Today the brand has over 100 locations across the U.S. as well as a small presence in Canada.

History

editBricks & Minifigs founders John Masek & David Ortiz start working together after stumbling into a bidding war against each other over a large LEGO collection. Soon after, the first store opened its doors in Canby, Oregon with a second opening in Battle Ground, Washington.
2011-2012
editBricks & Minifigs began selling franchises throughout the U.S. which helped contribute to their continued growth. Two more stores open their doors.
2016-2017
editThe first store in Canada opens, and another 20 stores open in the U.S.
2018
editJohn Masek & David Ortiz exit the company and pass the franchise to new hands. The Bricks & Minifigs headquarters moves to Utah. By the end of 2018, 36 locations have opened in North America.
2020
editDespite the COVID 19 pandemic, Bricks & Minifigs continued as one of the only nationwide brands to carry LEGO products consistently. During this time the Bricks & Minifigs logo and brand was also updated.
2022
editThroughout the next couple years, Bricks & Minifigs continued to grow to over 50 open stores in North America.
2024
edit2024 marked a major milestone for Bricks & Minifigs with its 100th location opening on February 3rd in Mesa, Arizona.
