I had sources, they were just improperly done. I'll re-do them. -- — Preceding unsigned comment added by Castmemberzack (talkcontribs) 20:45, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

  •   Not done There was no claim of importance. YouTube is not a suitable reference. However if you can find substantial write-ups in magazines or newspapers, that would be good, and creation could be permitted. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:53, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Something to note: these sources need to focus on Capener in specific. If the sources only mention him in passing about the band, then they won't be able to show how he's independently noteworthy. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:34, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

The Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency, Inc.

The information is not bias. Please restore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DbarryGSA (talkcontribs) 01:30, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

@DbarryGSA:   Not done and will not be done. The article has not been deleted, but your addition to it was hopelessly promotional and will not be restored: "GSA’s dynamic management division... dedicated to the spirit in which the agency was founded... innovative ideas... an exciting new entertainment concept.. original movie-going events like no other... " That was not an encyclopedia article, it was a blatant advertisement, full of puffery, the company telling the world how wonderful it is. Nothing like that is tolerated in Wikipedia.
From your username, I assume you work for the company. In that case, you have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and should not edit the article directly, but may make suggestions on the article talk page for uninvolved users to consider. Please read that guideline and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. JohnCD (talk) 10:46, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I've cleaned up the rest of the promotional tone and left a stern warning on the article's talk page. After cleaning up and looking for sources, I have to admit that there's not a lot out there for this company. They've repped some A listers, but offhand there's not really anything about the company themselves. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:57, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Quite simply, I am the CEO of the company. Unfortunately, I am not a savvy HTML writer so I am struggling to figure out how to respond to your questions in HTML (I thought I responded earlier but it was not saved). The person who requested the undeletion last time was a part-time marketing person who left the firm in the middle of doing the update, so we were unsure about the state of the project until we saw the removal notice from Wikipedia. Now we have HTML-literate summer resources who can help. I can assign this to a summer resource to work on it, but the article needs to be restored first so a junior person can own the project until it is done. It is bad management practice to assign someone a task that you cannot give the person clear deadline to complete because the article is not even restored. Thank you.
@24.5.38.107: Wikipedia does NOT use HTML. It uses a markup language with elements of HTML, but it does not use actual HTML itself for formatting. First, I suggest you read the Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use with regards to editing Wikipedia, and acknowledge that any employee, intern, or temp you send to do it will be compelled to disclose their relationship with HedgeSPA. Second, I suggest reading our non-negotiable neutrality policy, which a disproportionate amount of paid editors tend to stumble with. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 05:26, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
  • @24.5.38.107: We were pretty much just looking for a response since this was requested back on May 28th and a new request was added on June 2. We received no response to either one, which is what concerned us the most about this. I know that you can't help an employee leaving in the middle of a project (which is presumably what happened last year), but not replying to the requests on here did raise concern that the draft would just be abandoned again. (IE, if you weren't checking this board then odds are you wouldn't check on the draft either.) I also have to point out that rather than requesting the restoration of the old article you could have just started a new version in the draft space at any time. Restoration is optional, although it can be handy to have the prior sources and content. In other words, there really wasn't anything stopping you from sending an intern to create a completely new draft article (without the prior edit history) in the first place. • This feels like it was closely paraphrased or outright taken from somewhere, which would likely explain the somewhat promotional tone to the article. I'm going to do a little more research before restoring this. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:21, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
  •   Not done JohnDWashington, It looks like this was paraphrased from several different locations like this one. It's not entirely enough to where it's a copyright violation but this does make the article somewhat promotional in how it was written, enough to where I honestly think it'd be better for you to start from scratch. I will e-mail you a copy of the article so you can cull some information from it, but I would recommend that you not repost the information "as is". The article does have issues with sourcing, but I do have to say that the tone will also need to be dealt with or it runs a serious risk of getting deleted via WP:G11 if it makes it to the mainspace. I have to say, this is why Wikipedia discourages editing with a conflict of interest in most cases, since it's likely that you didn't intend for this to come across as promotional- it's just that it's very easy to write in a promotional tone when you have a personal stake in the matter. I'm not saying this in order to discourage you, just to let you know that you have to be very, very careful. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:27, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

  • This is somewhat promotional in tone. Phrases like "has always had a passion" should be avoided at all costs and you should always refer to the subject by their last name, as using the first name comes across as too casual and as such, can make an article look more promotional. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:29, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
  •   Not done, this is just a little too promotional to restore as is. Lassybear, I'm willing to e-mail the article to you so you can pull information from it, but you need to enable your e-mail account before I can do this. I can e-mail it to the account used to open up Dkozko6, if you have access to that. On a side note, it looks like it's likely that you are either Kozko or someone working for him in some context, so I'd really recommend reading over the conflict of interest guidelines before proceeding further. Safeconcerts

It seems that someone was kind enough to make a page for our website, but as we fight against ticket fraud and scams, someone has taken offence to it and got it deleted. I didn't have any part in the creation of the article and I would rather see it back and edit it to our current status that never be able to get included again. The delete reasons seem to be based on the fact that they objected to the fact that we are recommended by a number of news sources and websites. Thanks. -DerrenNugent (talk) 12:06, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

Ethel Farrell

The article is about Mrs. Ethel Farrell, the Doyenne of Australia - the oldest living person in Australia. It should be undeleted, because it concerns a notable person - Mrs. Ethel Farrell, who being born in India, is currently the oldest living person of a big country with long history of research into extreme longevity. 112 years of age is a remarkable achievement. All the necessary citations to sources have been provided. These include: article issued on occasion of her 110th birthday, another article issued, when at age 111, Mrs. Farrell became the oldest living person in Australia, and the most important one - citation of the Gerontology Research Group, an international scientific organization, which being the world's leading authority in extreme longevity tracking, has successfully verified the authenticity of Mrs. Farrell's age. This means, that apart from being the oldest living person of Australia, Mrs. Farrell is also the 2nd oldest verified person, who was born in India, which makes her even more notable. Finally, this article has been deleted despite the advantage of votes for "keep" - there were 10 votes for "keep" against 5 votes for "delete". in my opinion, the following reasons make it rational to reconsider whether the deletion of the article was the appropriate thing and if so, undelete the article. Javier_Dunn

Hello, it's come to my attention that the musician this page was about was deleted and all that is visible currently is an explanation for why the page was deleted back in 2010, a user called DangerousPanda stating the reason, "unreferenced BLP of a back-up band member - sure he tours, if you believe anything unsourced here, but so do the roadies, teeshirt hawkers and groupies. NN". At best, it was deleted because this user--whose administration privileges have been revoked not too long ago, presumably due to similarly belligerent, opinion-based unilateral actions--didn't think he was famous enough. While I'm personally unfamiliar with his work outside of his contributions with Sara Bareilles (he is mentioned on her page), a Google search has a lot of information that can expand upon anything that was missing and I'm certain his fans would be interested in populating the page with new material as soon as it gets undeleted. Javier Dunn himself has expressed displeasure with the deletion upon discovering it according to a recent tweet and feels slighted as a result. Pages about noteworthy people should never be deleted, however insignificant one person believes they are. This is a no-brainer. At the very least, the page could list his discography and his composer work for the Lizzie Velasquez documentary. -TigerNightmare (talk) 23:26, 9 June 2015 (UTC)--TigerNightmare (talk) 23:26, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Not done DangerousPanda did not provide the rationale for deletion, another user did. He just deleted the article when the seven days were up. PRODs are normally restored except that I'm inclined not to in this case because we'd have a completely unsourced biography that will be tagged for deletion immediately anyway. Since it was a single paragraph of unsourced material, your best bet is to simply create it again. You can use Articles for Creation if you wish. Note that being mentioned in other pages or Google searches, etc. are not acceptable indicators of notability. You must prove that the subject meets at least WP:MUSICBIO. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:37, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I have to admit that I'm not really finding much out there for this guy that would show that he'd pass notability guidelines for musical performers, which are incredibly strict. I found an Elle article, only to find that Elle was exclusively hosting some of his music for a while which may make it a bit of a primary source. The best one I've found so far is this brief mention at Rolling Stone, which wouldn't be enough for notability and would likely just be considered a WP:TRIVIAL source. I'm sorry that Mr. Dunn is upset by this, which is understandable, but an article would still have to establish notability per guidelines. AfC is probably the best place to start. In other words, you were using Wikipedia as a place to hold content that really wasn't going to be used to improve Wikipedia. I'll email the notes to the address you used to sign up with, but I'd recommend against re-uploading them to Wikipedia unless you're going to be adding them to an article. As far as RHaworth goes, it's likely that he's away from the computer for various reasons (work, sleep, etc) and just hadn't had a chance to come back on to Wikipedia. • I do see where you tried to insert your examples into Wikipedia by linking to your userpage. This isn't really what Wikipedia is for- if you think that these examples can be used within the article itself then you might be able to add them in, but be careful that this doesn't fall under the umbrella of WP:OR.   Done - as an Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored on request. Please note that you never submitted the entry for review. When you are ready, you need to click the green notice in the template at the top of the page that says "Submit your draft when you are ready for it to be reviewed!" However, it would not be accepted im its present form: read WP:Your first article for advice, and note particularly the need for references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" to establish Wikipedia:Notability. I believe that there is genuine need for the page to exist due to it being a prominent company in the UK architectural industry and education, but agree that I somewhat got the tone wrong and it came across too self promoting. Please may I have the information in order to review the mistakes made. Many Thanks.

@HrobinsonRMA: Per our conflict of interest guidelines, you should not create this article yourself. The deleted article was restored by Chrislk02 and I moved it to Draft:Rick Mather Architects, where you can improve it and then submit it for review. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 18:51, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Curt Sobel

Contesting A7 Speedy Delete. I request that this article be restored, and I wonder why was the article deleted without discussion? As a winner of a Primetime Emmy Award, Curt Sobel is certainly a notable subject. If the deleting Admin feels that the article should be deleted, then he should follow proper protocol - and take it to AfD. -Dolovis (talk) 15:36, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

@Dolovis:  Not done. From the instructions at the head of this page: "If you feel an administrator has erred... in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here." You should take this up in the first instance with the deleting admin. JohnCD (talk) 16:32, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
@Dolovis:   Done Chrislk02 may not be available so I've restored it. It seems the A7 was declined once, and then re-added again by an IP that seemed to have some kind of agenda. I agree the the article did not meet A7. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 18:55, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

James V. Toner

The information is currently being edited and for no reason should have been deleted. -SashaRearick (talk) 18:12, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

@SashaRearick:   Not done Repeatedly deleted for lack of a basic assertion of importance, as well as looking like a test page. Title is now protected from re-creation. Please go here and submit a draft for review. You can take all the time you want there. Make sure you review the notability guidelines before you do, if the subject does not meet those the article will not be accepted. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 18:57, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
There was already a draft at Draft:James V. Toner, which was speedied. —Cryptic 19:26, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

@Dgb536: the deleting administrator, user Kelapstick (talk), has restored the page into his userspace at User:Kelapstick/MAMCM. You can see it there, and with this message I will ping Kelapstick to confirm whether he is willing for you to work on it there. JohnCD (talk) 18:08, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I had a request for restoration from an IP, given a lack of better place to work on it, I restored it to my userspace. Dgb536, It can be worked on there, ore moved to somewhere more suitable. Thanks John for the ping.--kelapstick(bainuu) 16:55, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Contesting G4 Speedy Delete. Bio article was properly re-created with new information after the hockey player had played professionally in a 2014-15 regular season game of the Swedish Hockey League, which is a “Top Level League” as defined by WP:NHOCKEY/LA, and is therefore presumed notable by the standards established by the Ice Hockey Project. -Dolovis (talk) 05:14, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

@Dolovis:   Not done. Again, please read the instructions at the head of this page: it is for uncontroversial undeletion requests like PRODs and G13s. If you disagree with a speedy, your first step should be to approach the deleting admin, in this case Djsasso. Then, if not satisfied, go to WP:Deletion review. JohnCD (talk) 10:43, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
Since I was pinged to this message I will note that that 1 game was mentioned in the AfD where the article was deleted so there was no change of events in the time between when it was deleted at AfD and when you recreated it. It was an exhibition game so did not meet NHOCKEY. Go ahead and take it to deletion review. However the page was pretty close to identical to the one deleted at AfD with no new information on it. -DJSasso (talk) 17:14, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

  • @Dwedit:  Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MadEdit (2nd nomination), it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user MBisanz (talk · contribs). Folarin Ogunsola

Folarin Ogunsola is The Gambia's first representative at an international aquatics event. I believe that this makes him a moderately important page of interest for many fanatics of African and world aquatics. He is also the Gambian record holder for 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly events. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.212.127.237 (talkcontribs) 10:51, 12 June 2015

Done - as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored on request. I will notify user ModWilson (talk), who proposed it, and who may choose to nominate it at WP:Articles for deletion, which would start a debate lasting seven days, to which you would be welcome to contribute.
If the article is to be kept, it needs much better references. Of the three in the article, the third is a deadlink, and the other two simply record that Ogunsola took part in club and school swimming events. His competing in World aquatics championships needs to be verified from a reliable source. See also WP:Notability (summary). JohnCD (talk) 11:57, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

Ota Fine Arts

Ota Fine Arts is a renowned art gallery originating from Japan. Our Wikipedia page is a means for people to find out and learn more about us in general. We have no intention to use it for promotional purposes. -116.15.158.205 (talk) 04:41, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G11, indicating an page that was irredeemably promotional or blatant advertising. Note that G11 deletions are more an issue with the tone of the page as opposed to its sources or formatting. As articles deleted under G11 need to be rewritten from scratch, they will not be undeleted here or anywhere else; try contacting the deleting administrator (DGG (talk · contribs)) in order to be emailed a copy of the article as it stood at time of deletion. This is a well known program conducted by the European Union that teaches children how to eat healthy. It is worthy program that need to have a Wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JurnaRaluca (talkcontribs) 08:10, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

@JurnaRaluca:   Not done. Wikipedia is not for public service announcements, however worthy, see Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause and Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. The test for inclusion is called Wikipedia:Notability and requires references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject," see also Wikipedia:Notability (summary). An article should be based primarily on what others say about a subject, not what its promoters say. If this is really a "well known" program, you should be able to find references about it in reliable published sources (not blogs or chat sites, or anything based on press releases). If so, you can ask the deleting administrator, user Versageek (talk), whether s/he is willing to restore the article into a draft space where you can work on it.
If you are involved in the program, please read the guideline Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. JohnCD (talk) 09:06, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
