Support Seems a complete and rounded topic to me, linked by the campaignbox. Meets the criteria in my opinion, well done to you both. Woody (talk) 13:34, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - This is impressive but I think you need to include the articles Long Island order of battle and Trenton order of Battle, or alternatively (if you feel they are non-notable) merge these articles into their respective battle articles. Other campaign topics include order of battle articles, when they exist, and I feel the same must apply here - rst20xx (talk) 15:39, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the the orders of battle are conveniently mergable. I suspect I can turn them into FLs (higher-quality fairly complete descriptions exist), but obviously not within the timeframe of this nomination. Under the circumstances, I'll withdraw the nom until I can get them done. Magic♪piano 18:13, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nomination withdrawn - good luck with the lists :) - rst20xx (talk) 22:25, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Pink Floyd was the first thing I thought of when I saw our featured topics. Particularly the featured articles listed. Sir Richardson (talk) 14:42, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Um, first, "Pink Floyd" would have encompass much more than the albums - see Wikipedia:Featured topics/Nine Inch Nails to understand. Even a "Pink Floyd discography" topic has too many gaps now: the main article, Obscured by Clouds and the five pre-Meddle albums (if we stick just to studio albums). Better withdraw this. igordebraga≠ 16:45, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - topic is clearly not complete. Also, and I am not sure if this is relevant with FTCs (as it is with, for example, FLCs), but the nom does not appear to have edited any of the articles concerned..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:04, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Withdraw I withdraw this nomination, in respect to opposes above. Sir Richardson (talk) 15:04, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nomination withdrawn - rst20xx (talk) 15:15, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - a Pink Floyd Discography FT is on the cards, but I'm still working on the early studio albums, and until all studio albums are at least GA I won't be starting on the Discog article. Parrotof Doom 16:06, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the Thriller album meets all the criteria for being a Good Topic in Wikipedia. The album itself is a Featured Article, all several of the album's singles, as well as the 25th anniversary album, are of Good Article status. I have worked on all these articles and think that there should be no problem in listing this as a Good Topic. Thanks, Crystal Clear x3[talk] 20:04, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Any potential for articles on the other two songs? ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 23:06, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The other two songs on the album that don't have articles. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:22, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Those two songs ("Baby Be Mine" and "Lady In My Life") were not released as singles, and do not have enough notability to have there own articles. Crystal Clear x3[talk] 00:29, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - this is the best-selling album of all time. As such, I find it surprising that the last two tracks on it aren't noteworthy. I would expect there to be loads of critical analysis of every track on the album, in the same way as you get for album tracks by the Beatles and Bob Dylan, for example. I also think that Michael Jackson's Thriller, the video to a single off the album of the same name, and possibly other articles related to this single off the album, should be included in this topic - rst20xx (talk) 16:55, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just because the two songs appear on the best selling album of all time and, unsurprising, got a critical analysis (just like every other song on every other non-best-selling album of all time) does not in any way mean that they should have there own articles. The Thriller music video is not a mandatory necessity to this topic, it would be helpful if it was included but it is not a deal breaker. Also, regarding what you said about other article's being "related" to the thriller single, there are none. Crystal Clear x3[talk] 20:48, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thrill the World and Thriller (viral video)? I wouldn't say every song ever has been critically analysed (!), but I think that every one on this album would have enough to merit a worthy article - rst20xx (talk) 21:57, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per Michael Jackson's Thriller if nothing else. The crazy successful, called the "greatest music video ever" by some video to the album's title song definitely belongs. Staxringoldtalkcontribs 02:30, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Support: Sporting job. Note that if all of these songs are singles, you might consider retitled the GT "Thriller singles" or "Singles from Thriller." The FlashI amJack'scompletelack of surprise 14:12, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Support a great job on a killer batch of songs. And let's hope the video is improved enough someday to enter too. igordebraga≠ 01:04, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Weak support. I'd love to see the Thriller video included here, but since it's not on the musical album, it doesn't have to be included. I don't think relatively similar topics have music videos included in album topics--and yes, I know that the Thriller video is no ordinary music video. However, I still support this topic. —Goodtimber (walk/talk) 03:03, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Close with no consensus to promote - 5 supports vs 3 opposes makes a majority, but not consensus - rst20xx (talk) 16:38, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
