No apology necessary

A surprising amount of people don't realise that anyone may remove a prod tag. AfD is usually a better place to take this type of thing anyway. --Closedmouth (talk) 13:33, 24 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

HMS Black Joke - 'incomplete' tag removed

edit

Dear Xabier Cid
I've removed your 'incomplete' tag from HMS Black Joke. The page is perfectly in accordance with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Ships guidlines; what it does need is the red links turned into proper articles. Please let me know if I'm somehow missing the point here! In the meantime, thanks for your interest in an obscure (but to my mind fascinating) corner of naval history.

Languages map

edit

The map would get very crowded if I add too many languages. Of course there should be more languages, but keep in mind that the map's title is "Simplified Languages of Europe". About Galicia, the Spanish-speaking area corresponds with the city of A Coruña where Spanish is the dominating language.

See this map and the article dedicated to the Galician language.

Klaus Ebner in cyrillic-language wikis

In addition to your investigation:

All articles were created by their authors as mere lists of works, no free-flowing text.

This is a meat grinder of editors. They just disappear one after another. Only User:Winertai of zh-wikipedia appears to be active (and "real"). Where's my conspiracy microscope? Cheeers, East of Borschov 16:49, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jocasta Innes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Goodwin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

(Working from google translated versions)

Basically, one article references the other and the other says "We have obtained data". From where? Did they find a genealogical listing that had the right name? It's not enough. It's insufficient as a reference. - Richfife (talk) 17:03, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
